Born and raised in the heart of London’s east end, my step Gran Mo has grown up to become the proud owner of one of the biggest coat collections I’ve ever seen.  Spanning across many wardrobes and free cupboard space, this accumulation of parkas, trench coats, jackets, furs, macs and any other winter wear that took her fancy still grows with weekly catalogue orders and trips to M&S.
In the words of one of her good mates; “You’re the only person I know who could go for a shampoo and set and come out with a mink coat.” – 1960
